Concepts

An organization is the top-level tenant in DocLD. All resources—documents, knowledge bases, schemas, workflows, API keys—belong to an organization. Authentication and authorization are scoped by organization; quota and billing are typically tracked per organization.

In DocLD

Sign-up — When you create an account, an organization is created (or you join an existing one).
Resources — Documents, knowledge bases, and other assets are grouped under the organization.
Team — Multiple users can be invited to the same organization with different roles.
API — API keys are issued for an organization; requests are attributed to that org.

Tenant is a related concept; in DocLD the organization is the primary tenant boundary.
